BMW Driver Interaction Technologies Preview

Set in the backdrop of 1980's electronic music, here is a technology preview video from 2011 showcasing the black panel and iDrive concept driver interaction interfaces. PREH is an automotive supplier to BMW and other various German marques, this video features a dashboard design concept from 2007 IAA so some of these technologies featured is currently available in most BMW 2012 models such as Black Panel Instruments and the new iDrive Controller. The (F25) 2014 BMW X5 will feature a touch pad feature located on the top of the iDrive controller, this touch pad allows you to use your fingers to swipe through menus or to input navigation addresses naturally as you would and of course you may choose to input address or navigate through menus the traditional way as well.

You Know You Are In Markham When...

Our customer is usually very diverse in terms of the type of car and choices colors for their BMWs, however a certain color is extra popular in this area... just take a look at this picture from this morning in our delivery bay. You know you are in Markham when the entire delivery bay is full of White BMWs, Alpine white is surely one of the most sold color in this part of town. The BMW X1, X3, X6M, X5 are all in one picture... the M5 is the odd one out, interestingly if you click read more you will see a picture of the facelifted/LCI 2013 BMW X6M with the Full LED headlights. For those who are unfamiliar with our delivery bay, it is a place for our delivery specialists to go over the features of each vehicle in detail for the Lucky one picking up their BMW that day. 

MINI Markham Soc-Car at B.A.D. Ride 2012

MINI Markham had a lot of fun performing at the annual (Bikers Against Distress) B.A.D. Ride 2012 at the Markham Fairgrounds on May 27 2012. This is our first ever show featuring a few of our MINIs in a game of Soccer we named "Soc-Car" and Pat Gonslaves from Q107 was broadcasting live at the show. After many rounds of kickoffs and head to head action we would like to congratulate Team Shelia and Rany in the red MINI Cooper crowned as the winners of MINI Markham Soc-Car 2012 Champion! Sean Connery is pictured below in his Porsche 356 in 1964 driving through the cobblestone streets of Wavel Mews, in West Hampstead, London, England. Sean Connery was considered to be the coolest actor on earth since he had recently released Dr. No (1962), From Russia With Love (1963), and Goldfinger (1964). 

In an ironic twist, James Bond's character drove an Aston Martin, while the man who played the James Bond character, ironically drove a Porsche 356, which, of course, was the predecessor to the Porsche 911.
