2012 Infiniti Electric Sports Car Emerg-e with range-extender, initially presented with a concept-car 2012 Geneva Motor Show will be on display at Goodwood and Infiniti has constructed a running prototype that produces 402bhp from its two electric motors. After first showing it as a concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Infiniti has turned the stunning Emerg-E into a fully working prototype and plans to drive in front of a public audience at this month’s 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Goodwood is the most famous English meeting for cars whether they are oldtimers, actual or future vehicles, but all legendary! Therefore, Infiniti naturally chose this event to host the first public exhibition of the Emerg-e in motion.

The Infiniti Emerg-E Concept, is a highly advanced mid-ship sports car that provides an exciting glimpse into Infiniti's future. 2012 Infiniti Electric Sports Car Emerg-e At Geneva Motor Show is physical proof of Infiniti's intention to produce a bold halo model befitting the brand's promise of Inspired Performance, and also signals an array of exciting new technologies that the brand will adopt in its quest to build dramatic and sustainable high performance cars. 2012 Infiniti Electric Sports Car Emerg-e At Geneva Motor Show also provides a fresh expression of Infiniti's design language applied to a high performance, mid-ship sports car for the first time. The main challenges will be the cost of the motors and the need to outsource the car’s carbonfibre body. Infiniti’s product planning boss, Francois Bancon, said, “There is nothing really difficult to do except the carbonfibre, where we need a high-level partner.” He envisaged the Emerg-e would cost around “$150,000 (£95,000). 2012 Infiniti Electric Sports Car Emerg-e At Geneva Motor Show is also significant for being the first Infiniti that has been developed in Europe. More than that, its advanced technology deliberately draws on the knowledge of suppliers beyond Infiniti's usual base in the quest to uncover the most innovative hardware and the deepest knowledge base.

Infiniti chiefs say it is “feasible” to build a production version of its Emerg-e extended-range electric sports car. Infiniti has constructed a running prototype that produces 402bhp from its two electric motors. But Bancon and Infiniti’s chiefs were adamant, and Hardcastle’s team set to work nn the Emerg-e. Unveiled today at the Geneva motor show, the extended-range electric car aims to marry sports car performance with Infiniti standards of luxury and zero-emissions driving.

Power for the sleek, rear-drive, two-seat Emerg-e comes from a pair of electric motors with a combined output of 300kW (402bhp), and the 2012 Infiniti Electric Sports Car Emerg-e At Geneva Motor Show is capable of 30 miles of travel under electric power alone. With the range extender – a Lotus-derived 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine – up to 300 miles is possible between refills. When the battery becomes low, the engine acts a generator to extend the car's range an additional 270 miles (434 km). Imagine a superfast, near silent sports car, cruising the neon-lit streets of an after-dark London. This is the compelling image that gave birth to 2012 Infiniti Electric Sports Car Emerg-e At Geneva Motor Show, and this concept is its realisation.

Infiniti Emerg-E is a highly advanced, mid-ship, electric motors powered sports car concept. It projects Infiniti's already-advanced electric vehicle technology deep into the future with a range-extender powertrain that delivers the performance expected of sports car bearing the Infiniti badge. Combining thrilling performance with the scope to drive in urban conditions for up to 30 miles with zero emissions, it emits no more than 55g/km of CO2 (NEDC cycle) over a 300 mile combined range. Infiniti Emerg-E lays down a radical new marker for mid-ship sports cars, and explores one of a number of the alternative propulsion avenues that Infiniti is considering.

The Emerg-E Concept is a mid-ship electric motors powered sports car concept. It projects Infiniti’s electric vehicle technology deep into the future with a range-extender powertrain.
It has a light, ultra-compact, Lotus-engineered three-cylinder 1.2 liter 35kW engine. It operates between crank speeds of 1,500-4,000rpm, producing peak power at only 3,500rpm. Its range-extender driveline is the first for Infiniti.

Bentley has announced its newly updated Continental GT Speed model ahead of its official debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The new performance flagship for the luxury British automaker will feature 625 PS (616 bhp/460 kW) at 6000 rev/min and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque from an enhanced 6.0-liter, twin turbocharged W12 engine, supercar performance with effortless overtaking capability. The result is a sporty coupe that does 0-60 mph in just 4 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.2s) flat with a top speed of 205 mph (329 km/h). Mated to the engine is a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission that will also improve fuel economy by up to 12 percent compared to its predecessor.

The new 2013 Bentley Sport Cars Continental GT Speed W12 engine, rolling on unique 21-inch wheels shod in 275/35R21 Pirelli PZero tires, is destined for a top speed of 205 mph and dash to 60 mph from a standstill in 4 seconds flat. To get to such a high speed, the 2013 Bentley Sport Cars Continental GT Speed W12 engine permanently directs power to all four wheels through a close-ratio ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and benefits from lowered uprated suspension for better handling.

The muscular, elegantly sculpted coachwork of the Continental coupe is subtly enhanced with design touches which reinforce the sporting character of the new model. Output of The Toyota Sport Cars GRMN Sports Hybird Concept II stands at 245 horsepower for the mid-mounted gasoline engine and 295 total hp with the electric motor included. Toyota said the concept will weigh approximately 3,300 pounds.

Modern Classic - 2001 BMW Z8 Roadster

We have a modern classic in our showroom right now, and what beautiful car penned by Henrik Fisker. Here we have an E52 2001 BMW Z8 Roadster with around 28,000kms using the S62 4.9L V8 Engine from the E39 M5 Sedan at the time. The S62 BMW V8 was the first to use the Double Vanos technology on an eight cylinder. This car produces 400 horsepower and 370lb/ft of torque and electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.
