Chevrolet Corvette vs. SRT Viper vs. Porsche 911 Carrera S – Pick One

The 2014 Corvette Stingray is powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 making at least 450 hp, though the high-performance Z06 and ZR1 models will return before long. While GM hasn’t released information on those future Corvettes, the current Z06 and ZR1 make 505 hp and 638 hp, respectively. A 640-hp 8.4-liter V-10 resides under the Viper’s hood and a rear-mounted 400-hp 3.8-liter flat-six cylinder engine powers the 911 Carrera S. While the Viper’s mighty V-10 is mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission (for now), the new Corvette and 911 Carrera come with a seven-speed manual. A six-speed automatic is available on the Corvette, while a seven-speed dual-clutch is available on the 911.
Now that all three iconic sports cars have been significantly updated, we want to know which one you would choose as a daily-driver if you had as much as $100,000 to spend. This poll was inspired by a thread from the Motor Trend forums from forum member TOTS.
