The ceramic compound used to fashion the engine also helps in weight savings since it is much lighter than an engine made of aluminum only. Thanks to the silicon added to the ceramic, the engine is that it requires no cooling or lubrication and lasts longer. With lubrication and cooling being redundant features, the engine also does not need to have a radiator, hoses, pipes, filters and water and oil pumps which results in further space and weight savings for the vehicle. As a result, it loses weight and gains space and speed. The ceramic engine has its main components made of the same material. This composite has a very low thermal expansion coefficient and it resists extreme temperatures, exceeding metals.

XSeed Hybrid Sports Cars Concept by Marcos Beltrao

Magnesium alloy is used to fashion the swanky 22-inch alloys on the vehicle. This technology is based on the addition of carbon dioxide and /or nitrogen in the plastic injection process. The external body is made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) that results in a weight loss around 15% compared to the same in aluminum. A very cool design thrustersare recharged by the regenerative brakes and shock absorbers system, which recover energy from brakes and oscillation of the shock absorbers. Thus, the autonomy of the XSeed Hybrid Sports Cars Concept by Marcos Beltrao increases up to 60%. and thoughtful amalgamation of several new-tech possibilities. After first showing it as a concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Infiniti has turned the stunning Emerg-E into a fully working prototype and plans to drive in front of a public audience at this month’s 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Goodwood is the most famous English meeting for cars whether they are oldtimers, actual or future vehicles, but all legendary! The main challenges will be the cost of the motors and the need to outsource the car’s carbonfibre body. Infiniti’s product planning boss, Francois Bancon, said, “There is nothing really difficult to do except the carbonfibre, where we need a high-level partner.” He envisaged the Emerg-e would cost around “$150,000 (£95,000). 2012 Infiniti Electric Sports Car Emerg-e At Geneva Motor Show is also significant for being the first Infiniti that has been developed in Europe.
