Instead, the whole care uses LED lighting. As a matter of fact, the 2014 S-Class has close to 500 LED lights, of which 300 are located inside the passenger compartment, which can change in seven colors, with four dimming zones that have 5 dimming levels. The headlights each have 56 LED lights, and the taillights have 25 each!!!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0TGBMT-0CVuZUbMn7kkr1b1ncSSDzhxAqwLl1i4aTpCOdOayaddMrz_J5BMUDQghlbyS4HM3JBXAjvt-l6BMSFxaQ8Ymdi7O0TITS5l9dwNmTX8FF25CcAZcGRWajDv5HXbYNzPmD7eC_/s1600/2014-Mercedes-Benz-S-Class-side-in-motion.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0TGBMT-0CVuZUbMn7kkr1b1ncSSDzhxAqwLl1i4aTpCOdOayaddMrz_J5BMUDQghlbyS4HM3JBXAjvt-l6BMSFxaQ8Ymdi7O0TITS5l9dwNmTX8FF25CcAZcGRWajDv5HXbYNzPmD7eC_/s1600/2014-Mercedes-Benz-S-Class-side-in-motion.jpg" width="800" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Until the Lexus LS came along in 1989 the Mercedes S-Class was the King Of The Hill, but ever since, Mercedes and Lexus have been going head to head, with Lexus winning–in my opinion.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Lexus is so well aware of this, for the first time they went past the typical six year complete model overhaul, and kept the current Lexus LS model for a 7th year. Why? I suspect it is because Lexus was concerned with the all-new 2014 Mercedes S-Class and knew Mercedes was aiming over Lexus' head, and it appears Mercedes pulled out all the stops, and leapfrogged the Lexus LS, by a long-shot. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Speaking of long-shots, the new standard S-Class is 206.5 inches long, which also contributes to is largesse. Contrast this with the standard 2013 Lexus LS which is 200 inches long. Contrast this with the longer wheelbase 2013 Lexus LS L which is 205 inches long.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNcrLSzVlHyXN8nB0zwP5XFmDDVW6yFLojbQASZEnNAuHo9Qin7_QsU2oZZVW-tfkGIANvH88rKQSG2IGHljWc2dtMP3OQmAOJ340KcjN7gb1hgGV6HAh8SBd_OhpkDkTeYD2cETSgzhgW/s1600/2014-Mercedes-Benz-S-Class-side-view.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNcrLSzVlHyXN8nB0zwP5XFmDDVW6yFLojbQASZEnNAuHo9Qin7_QsU2oZZVW-tfkGIANvH88rKQSG2IGHljWc2dtMP3OQmAOJ340KcjN7gb1hgGV6HAh8SBd_OhpkDkTeYD2cETSgzhgW/s1600/2014-Mercedes-Benz-S-Class-side-view.jpg" width="800" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">The new S-Class Mercedes-Benz now smokes the Lexus LS in performance, luxury and technological prowess. It will be fascinating to see how Lexus responds in 2015. Until then, it looks like Mercedes just took back the crown, and it appears to have plans not to give it back. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">There are of course, other competitors to the Mercedes S-Class, in particular, the Tesla Model S, which is probably more innovative since it is all electric, but it lacks the 2014 S-Class Luxury features. While there are other competitors worth mentioning like the BMW 7 Series, and perhaps the Audi S8, I think it is safe to say the 2014 S-Class is now the one to beat. The all new S550 S-Class does 0-60MPH in a respectable 4.8 seconds, which is significantly faster than its outgoing predecessor which did it in 5.4 seconds. Also, the all-new 2014 AWD AMG version of the S-Class rockets from 0-60 MPH in only 3.8 seconds!!!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I remember watching 60 Minutes many years ago, and they referred to the Mercedes Benz S-Class as being the car that men own, who tell other men what to do.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I highly recommend watching this fascinating video!</span></div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><br /><center><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="450" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/_LRuqrnXBM8" width="800"></iframe></span></center><div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixId3T2Xt5_2c7khAT21ckO2Un6ZH4hVRgCWL0hDtzwaovaqRwMvGVbGV5LStpgT0K8fhFJxKRPwQvQOV5AhjnNdQpWeHSifxQp_AUZZNOVEOsOdYyxbL_U0-een10s1a2TNy015z_OLvF/s1600/2014-mercedes-benz-s63-amg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="454" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixId3T2Xt5_2c7khAT21ckO2Un6ZH4hVRgCWL0hDtzwaovaqRwMvGVbGV5LStpgT0K8fhFJxKRPwQvQOV5AhjnNdQpWeHSifxQp_AUZZNOVEOsOdYyxbL_U0-een10s1a2TNy015z_OLvF/s1600/2014-mercedes-benz-s63-amg.jpg" width="800" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><center><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="450" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/cHsv9oRDikw" width="800"></iframe></center><center><script src="http://pshared.5min.com/Scripts/PlayerSeed.js?sid=281&width=800&height=493&playList=517858531" type="text/javascript"></script></center><br /><br /><center><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="600" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/eX_rXwim8O8" width="800"></iframe></center><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: x-large;">2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AWG W222</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: x-large;">Testing Hard At the Nürburgring Ring</span></b></div><br /><center><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="450" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/k-D5dnZ6JXM" width="800"></iframe></center><center></center><center></center><center><br /></center><center><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="450" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/pAuzMD7UUYY" width="800"></iframe></center><center></center><center><br /></center><center><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="450" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/--wmUa4ldpg" width="800"></iframe></center><center></center><center><br /></center><center><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="600" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/2gEVkFahYH4" width="800"></iframe></center>

They will spend their spare time alone at home and social contacts will only take place via online networks. Based on the rental of <span style="font-weight: bold;">racing cars</span> for private persons on specially designed tracks the vehicle is used similarly to today's karting as a group activity, pushing them to their limits. The vehicle displays a continuation of the legendary Silver Arrows like the <span style="font-weight: bold;">W25</span>, carrying the tradition and the myth of these vehicles into 2030.<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631853926778859762" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFpw5HUCLOW9YV-gXBNY-CyL_TWSku6c9lx2ZzllenToFKO5ku3Iw05GBKZ-lvZkkIwmMYa7Yp967W8YWihBW06v9JxkYJnzAgu-QkCOQCD3TSSIm92PKl0F81YOBdC1p4DrnU9-MXATY/s400/Sport-Car-Racing-in-2030-Project-by-Marco-Sweston-Touch-Effect-Motorsports-Mercedes-Benz-W25-inpired-car-2.jpg" style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Project by Marco Sweston Sport Car Racing in 2030 Touch Effect Motorsports Mercedes-Benz W25</span><br /></div>What will we all do for fun in the future when we’re bored with all the digital thrills we have sought indoors? Designer Marco Sweston has the answer: a track racer built from synthetic bone, muscle, and skin that runs in a pack on a custom-designed race course. The <span style="font-weight: bold;">Touch Effect concept</span> uses a carbon fiber frame reminiscent of a skeleton, which is surrounded by synthetic muscles that control the suspension, steering, and insulation of the vehicle. Topping it all off is an acrylic glass skin that is transparent to show off the muscles doing their thing underneath. The steering mechanism is an extension of the muscles, which functions like reins.<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631854330688842898" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_tFWsem1Ms_v3o-lC-ve3ora-bW_rUtDld6RLp4CNFzEUCRJQnJGf7I5rGkUObwN9wjo12t1KJK7TyW-OlQRQ9xrzGhN-bTtDagzPRyPFE_uExQHMEyuT3Ac5Ke8Jsm0JADL8AuzqkwU/s400/Sport-Car-Racing-in-2030-Project-by-Marco-Sweston-Touch-Effect-Motorsports-Mercedes-Benz-W25-inpired-car-9.jpg" style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Project by Marco Sweston Sport Car Racing in 2030 Touch Effect Motorsports Mercedes-Benz W25</span><br /></div>Designed as a continuation of the Silver Arrows like W25, the project has been to a large extent inspired by this model of Mercedes Benz. The vehicle thereby designed for this <span style="font-weight: bold;">sport car</span> has a light weight main body with a stiff carbon frame that imparts it ruggedness and an overall stability. The other core muscles for the motor-sport vehicle have been made from flexible synthetic that can be deformed using voltage difference.<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631854330133741154" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhELX_lEQYn8RTJBc6VHBGEWYXAenUgUlBuDIem_a1m2jd0pFdVOop18mJuq3ewe0aOBdWXIrjwBdJhfJ2_oQw-FYGgbMVZNm8bDvTGnQmgfP_95Z2UhjYZbBzI1Tv7V5btTLdwZ07kr2M/s400/Sport-Car-Racing-in-2030-Project-by-Marco-Sweston-Touch-Effect-Motorsports-Mercedes-Benz-W25-inpired-car-8.jpg" style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Project by Marco Sweston Sport Car Racing in 2030 Touch Effect Motorsports Mercedes-Benz W25</span><br /></div>These have been covered partially using acrylic glass surfaces on the exterior thereby giving a visual feel of a merger of all parts into one volume. In this video we David Coulthard takes us for a spin in the amazing new Mercedes!!!</span></center><center><br /></center><center><object height="475" width="800"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IOlfZk-hw34?fs=1&hl=en_US"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IOlfZk-hw34?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="800" height="475"></embed></object></center><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">I would not be surprised, if in the next 10 years, all new cars will be electric–and there are so many advantages to electric!!! First, of course, is the lack of carbon emission, second, the engine is silent so there is no toxic noise pollution. Next is fuel cost savings. It costs much less to run a car on electricity than on gasoline or diesel. Also, you can charge your car in your garage every night or any time you wish, so no more trips to gas stations.</span><br /></span><div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSxzZl09ccZthbMxzYySnmPP7_01paqehq5PKNmqptSNGC4pvIQHcoh-Gy9bDDPs0ZHbLzVdPaZ-UahqN81WX2n2Kt2DXKZ8Kk8ZLF70kmQBDJthvhN9izHvfzEUaY2zv1h72tOcqOxtw/s1600/mercedes_benz_sls_amg_e-cell_18.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562386201747696546" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSxzZl09ccZthbMxzYySnmPP7_01paqehq5PKNmqptSNGC4pvIQHcoh-Gy9bDDPs0ZHbLzVdPaZ-UahqN81WX2n2Kt2DXKZ8Kk8ZLF70kmQBDJthvhN9izHvfzEUaY2zv1h72tOcqOxtw/s800/mercedes_benz_sls_amg_e-cell_18.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 800px; height: 530px;" /></a><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">Also, electric cars have way fewer parts, and they require far less maintenance, so there is much more in cost savings, not to mention parts last longer. The sedan debuted with a range of straight-four and V6 petrol engines and straight-four and straight-five Diesels. The V6s were versions of the previous model with increased displacement, to 2.6 L and 3.2 L, this one with 218 PS (160 kW/215 hp). The Diesels now featured common rail direct injection and variable geometry turbochargers. Six-speed manual gearboxes were now standard for nearly the entire range (except the C 320 and C 270 CDI). For the first time, the number designations were no longer equivalent to the engine displacement, more specifically in the C 180 (2.0 L), C 240 (2.6 L) and C 200 CDI (2.2 L).</div>
