Concept 2013 Ford Escape Both 2013 Ford Escapes heading to SEMA may be powered by the same top-of-the-line 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine but couldn't be more different. We've already seen previews of the 2013 Ford Fusions and 2013 Ford Focus cars coming to the SEMA show, and now it's time for Escape.

2013 Ford Escape
Ford describes the bright-green 2013 Ford Escape SE AWD modified by Heide Performance Products as "tasteful," though that's not the first word that comes to mind for us. The car sports attractive, bold wheels and bulging wheel well flares as well as more aggressive front and rear fascias. With its lowered chassis and visual changes, this 2013 Escape -- which has leather and suede seating -- actually makes us wonder what a factory-sport-tuned Escape ST might look like. The VACCAR-built front-drive 2013 Ford Escape SE takes a much different approach. While the new Escape crossover leaves behind the last-generation model's classic and rugged looks, the VACCAR Urban Escape Adventurer is said to show a balance of off-road attitude and "upscale comfort" with, of course, the same 240-hp 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. Unlike the street-focused Heide Performance Products Escape, this Ford actually appears to be ready to go off-roading. When we tested an all-wheel-drive 2013 Ford Escape Titanium, it accelerated from 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds on to a quarter-mile time of 15.2 seconds at 88.8 mph. Which of Ford's two 2013 Escape SEMA show cars would you rather drive?
