Concept Hyundai Elantra Concept by Bisimot Those who find the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback too tame should consider the eye-popping claimed horsepower figure on the SEMA-show-bound Elantra GT concept: 600 hp. Hyundai is bringing to the 2012 SEMA show a car we never thought would exist: a 600-hp Elantra GT. That's right, the 148-hp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine in the stock 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT four-door hatchback has been modified to produce over 600 hp in a special SEMA show concept tuned by Bisimoto. The engine modifications leading to that staggering horsepower figure are complemented by some visually questionable visual tweaks but it's clear the star here is under the hood. "...We focused on raw horsepower with this SEMA concept. We think the final product is a great example of just what can be achieved with turbocharging and engine tuning in the present day," said Hedi Kim, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Bisimoto Engineering.
